Sr. Manager / Manager – Event Strategy, Sponsorship & Partnerships
About the role:

DataLEADS seeks a sharp, commercially driven Senior Manager – Event Strategy, Sponsorship & Partnerships to create and  lead the end-to-end commercial architecture and execution of our domestic and international events and partnerships. Operating as a high-impact Individual Contributor (IC), you will own your portfolio and directly translate conceptual event lines into financially viable, highly attended summits, conferences, boot camps, and roundtables held across India and Asia.

Your core mandate spans defining regional ticket pricing matrixes, securing high-value corporate sponsorship pitches, and structuring multi-stakeholder partnership models with tech conglomerates, civil society networks, and government agencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Align event frameworks with the stakeholder priorities and advocacy goals of First Check (health and infodemic management), Asian Dispatch (pan-Asian public interest journalism), and digital safety and security initiatives.
  • Design and benchmark tiered ticketing structures adapted for diverse cross-border participants (e.g., medical professionals, tech leaders, independent newsrooms, civil servants).
  • Forecast attendance metrics and execute localized early-bird, institutional, group, and VIP access frameworks across different Asian currencies and markets.
  • Create high-yield sponsorship prospectus decks highlighting specific, clear ROI metrics for Corporates, GFSI,  Tech, and Healthcare industry sponsors.
  • Actively prospect, pitch, and secure monetization channels that align with corporate trust, safety, and brand alignment metrics.
  • Structure and nurture complex relationship models with prominent ecosystem partners, optimizing co-branded initiatives.
  • Formulate cross-promotional, cost-sharing, and media-swap models with foreign news networks, think tanks, and academic hubs across South and Southeast Asia.
  • Build localized event marketing plans using digital, email, and network outreach channels to hit delegate targets.
  • Monitor KPIs, financial recovery, attendee engagement, and deliver detailed post-event reporting to internal  institutional and corporate stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate Profile & Qualifications:
  • Experience: 7-10 years of progressive experience in event management, media sales, or conference partnership management, preferably within digital media, policy think tanks, or international development agencies.
  • Partnership Management: Proven track record of pitching to tech enterprises and navigating engagement frameworks with governmental/institutional bodies and with success in delivering partnerships 
  • Financial Modeling: Demonstrated skill in building and managing event budgets, ticket pricing sheets, and sponsorship revenue targets.
  • Tools: Proficiency with modern CRM platforms (Salesforce/HubSpot), presentation tools (Google Slides/Canva), and event registration management systems (Zoom webinar / Google meet) etc
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills; ability to interface comfortably with high-ranking government officials, corporate executives, and international journalists.
  • Geographic Exposure: Familiarity with the corporate, public policy, and media landscapes of India and Southeast Asia; previous experience organizing cross-border or regional events is highly valued.
Travel Requirements:

Up to 20% to 25% regional travel within India and Southeast Asia based on the event calendar. The candidate must possess a valid passport.

Associate Editor
About the role:

Asian Dispatch is looking for an Associate Editor to join its editorial team. This is an on-site, editorial and strategic role that will require someone to work closely with the editorial lead to design and decide the editorial workflow. The selected candidate will also be expected to work closely with a network of freelance journalists and innovate compelling new forms of storytelling.

Location : New Delhi

Key Responsibilities:
  • Editing original stories, following up on deadlines with freelancers, and coordinating on multimedia deliverables.
  • Pitching own stories, including feature projects, and working closely with the editorial lead to to strategise editorial goals and story ideas for each quarter, and setting tasks to pursue them.
  • Work closely with the social media manager to create original content for social media.  Develop scripts, write/review captions, and coordinate with story writers.
  • Coordinating with Asian Dispatch’s members on stories to republish.
What We Are Looking For:
  • Completed an undergraduate degree program, preferably in Mass Comm/Journalism
  • 4-5 years of experience in a newsroom
  • Strong understanding of news and current affairs, with a keen interest in Asian political, economic, and social issues.
  • Understanding of revenue streams and partnerships
  • Fluency in English is mandatory
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills are required
  • Comfortable to work in a fast-paced environment and willing to collaborate with other teams

The role involves monitoring digital content, analysing trends, and producing insights on developments shaping the online information ecosystem. Analysts will contribute to content monitoring and policy-oriented research across platforms. This position offers the opportunity to apply strong research and analytical skills in a dynamic, high-impact environment focused on understanding digital discourse and its broader policy implications.

The responsibilities and skills for this level include but are not limited to:
  • You should have interest in latest news developments
  • You should have good knowledge of various social media platforms.
  • You are passionate about understanding online harmful content
  • You should have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, especially in Gujarati

Programme Manager
About the role:

DataLEADS is seeking a Programme Manager to lead a migration-focused awareness and training initiative aimed at promoting safe, orderly, and regular migration. The programme supports prospective migrants and students by providing reliable information, counselling, and awareness to help them make informed decisions and avoid risks associated with unsafe migration pathways.

The Programme Manager will oversee day-to-day operations in Jalandhar, ensuring the effective delivery of training and awareness programmes tailored to the needs of prospective migrants and students. This role requires strong coordination, stakeholder engagement, and on-ground programme implementation to drive impact at the community level.

Working closely with the central project team, trainers, and institutional partners, the Programme Manager will lead outreach efforts, strengthen local partnerships, facilitate migration-related guidance, and ensure accurate data collection and reporting. The role is critical in building trusted information ecosystems that enable safer migration journeys.

Location: Jalandhar, Punjab

Key Responsibilities
  • Centre Operations and Support in Jalandhar
    Manage day-to-day centre operations in Jalandhar, ensuring it remains accessible and responsive. Provide accurate guidance to prospective migrants and students on safe and legal migration pathways, and maintain records of consultations and engagements.
  • Outreach and Awareness
    Organize and support workshops, seminars, and community outreach activities. Build awareness on safe migration, ethical recruitment, visa processes, and fraud prevention.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    Develop and maintain partnerships with local institutions, training centres, consultancies, civil society groups, and relevant stakeholders to strengthen outreach and impact.
  • Data and Reporting
    Maintain accurate records of activities and engagement. Contribute to monitoring, reporting, and documentation of field insights and emerging migration trends.
  • Programme Coordination
    Work closely with the central team to implement programme activities, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and reporting requirements.
Qualifications and Experience :
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Arts, Development Studies, Public Policy, Migration Studies, or related fields.
  • 4–7 years of experience in programme management, community outreach, migration, or development sector initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of migration ecosystems, international education pathways, or labour mobility issues is desirable.
  • Experience working with NGOs, social sector, international organisations, or government programmes will be an advantage. 
Skills and Competencies :
